FIET, THE ITALIAN FOOD AND TOURISM EXHIBITION  is a meeting place between supply and demand for all different quality agri-food specialties. Those specialties could be divided into macro areas: food, food and wine, extra virgin olive oil, beers crafts and Italian tourism in all different expressions.

"Food is an integral part of the Italian cultural heritage and the image of our country in the world. For this reason - declares the Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, Dario Franceschini -  together with the Ministry of agricultural food and forestry policies, we strongly wanted  2018 (after the positive experiences of the 2016, Year of  the Walks and of the 2017, Year of the Villages) to be the Year of the Italian Food, with a series of initiatives capable of promoting the richness, the excellence and the diversity of our food and wine tradition ".

A deep bond with history and traditions of our territories sealed through the initiatives which, from North to South, involve all the protagonists of this sector. Our food and wine excellences do not only represent an enormous economic resource, as confirmed by the data of agri-food exports with the record of 44.6 billion Euros in the 2019, but also an extraordinary opportunity to collect and promote a great cultural legacy.
